Rishi Nixon is a Maryland spoken-word storyteller and performing artist.

With a love of South Asian folklore, he has told stories across the mid-Atlantic for nearly a decade.

Rishi was inducted a lifetime performing member of regional storytelling guild Voices in the Glen in 2020, and is the incumbent president of the National Storytelling Network.

In the past year, he has performed for youth and adults, from city libraries to folk festivals, at a beach shack, and in the summer sun of a West Baltimore vacant lot-turned community peace park.
